Shining ‘Brite’ during winter

Third music-focused festival warms Ohio City Feb. 18

This Means War

It really means 'bore'

Although the characters' love interests feel pretty genuine and the story plausible enough, "This Means War" is still unsatisfying. The Russian Wilds

"The Russian Wilds" is a fun, varied listen from start to finish, recalling old favorites with new twists. Frontman Ethan Miller finds a wide range of influences—primarily from ‘60s and ‘70s—and makes them his own. His voice borders on grating occasionally, but there are some very pleasant harmonies to balance this.

Singer and guitarist Erika Wennerstrom has serious pipes, and her vocals add power to the more straightforward rock ‘n' roll of the fourth Heartless Bastards album. The band tackles T. Rex on "Got To Have Rock And Roll" and follows it with the silky smooth "Only For You.
