At a special SGA meeting held Friday to ratify the results of the general election, Urban Affairs Senator Tariq Mitchell urged his colleagues to reject the election results, claiming that the election had been "rigged." In a letter addressed to the Senate, Mitchell suggested that a run-off election be held for executive board candidates because the election process was "unethical, biased and downright ugly.
