Volleyball head coach Chuck Voss has to rewrite his résumé. Now he can put Horizon League regular season Champions to an NCAA appearance, Horizon League Champions, and second most wins as a Vikings volleyball coach, since the Vikings beat Youngstown State in three straight sets on Friday night at Woodling Gym.

The Cleveland State Vikings men's basketball team beat the John Carroll Blue Streaks 92-75 Monday night, but the biggest story of the night was TV personality Bruce Drennan brought his SportsTime Ohio show, 'All Bets Are Off' to the Wolstein Center to kick off the Vikings' 2009-2010 campaign.

The Cleveland State Vikings and the University of Illinois Chicago Flames had fought for 110 minutes and still could not find a winner. Infact, the two teams in their two matches at Krenzler Field this year have accumulated just two goals, combined, in 220 minutes of play.

While the Cleveland State volleyball team was ending their regular season on Friday night, the women's basketball team was opening theirs with a -XX over MAC opponents Ohio University at the Wolstein Center. "I thought this was a great way to start our season," head coach Kate Peterson-Abiad said after the game.
