Students can now use a new program to find information about Cleveland State University student organizations—OrgSync.
OrgSync is an online student organization networking system that helps student organizations improve their communication. According to their website, "OrgSync is the leading provider of organization management software for higher education institutions across the United States and Canada."
OrgSync was developed in 2007 and has grown to establish partnerships with over 150 universities and colleges, including John Carroll University, Bowling Green State University and Denison University.
One benefit of this program is that students will be able to quickly search for any of CSU's more than 170 organizations by category or keyword. After searching for the group of interest, students can also sign up to join it.
All student organizations on campus are required to become part of the OrgSync system. For CSU students, OrgSync will serve as a resource for finding out what different organizations are doing. Many groups have events and programs throughout the year, all of which can be listed and easily found through OrgSync.
The program is informative and serves a social purpose as well. Students can upload and archive pictures, videos and documents. Members can also share events within their Facebook news feeds.
Any student can sign up to use OrgSync. Students log on by using their CSU ID number and CampusNet password. First time users will then have to set up a profile.
Students can sign up and explore OrgSync by visiting orgsync.com/login/csuohio.
